COURSE DESCRIPTION: Enjoy your semester break experiencing Sicily’s rich history, art and culture. Begin or continue study of the Italian language along with a course in either Sicilian Literature or Italian Cinema. Homestays provide traditional Sicilian meals and authentic Sicilian hospitality.
● Three weeks of intensive full immersion Italian language study (3 credits)
● Three credit course choice of:
o Cinema in Italian Society: Cinema of the South or
o Sicilian Writers in Italian Literature
● Home stay with local families
● Breakfast and dinner with families
● Pickup and Drop off at Catania Fontanarossa Airport
● Orientation

* Students may transfer credits directly into their home university or receive US university credits through Auburn University. Cost of tuition and fees for 3 to 7 credits from Auburn University is $860.
