Taormina Film Festival in June and will be able to meet with film directors, actors & actresses and cinema professors.

LI 433: Italian Cinema: Images of and from Italian Women
The course combines daily class lectures in English with viewings of international films. This course examines the many facets of Italian women beginning in the Middle Ages continuing to the present, including modern Italian-American women. Images are experienced through the cinematic lens and through literature, art and law to capture the essence of the Italian woman.
Earn Three Credits in a Two Week January Session in Taormina, Sicily. Daily class lectures are in English. An optional additional one hour seminar in Italian is scheduled for Italian and Italian studies majors.
