STUDY ABROAD CUSTOMIZED PROGRAMS SICILY

With the increased awareness of the importance of international education, and study abroad experience, faculty and institutions are seeking opportunities to internationalize courses and expand curriculum. Sicily is the ideal location for infusing excitement into history, art, culture, philosophy or humanities programs. The historical, artistic and natural treasures existing in Sicily provide a motivating academic environment which brings traditional lectures to life.

At Center for Italian Language and Culture - Babilonia we collaborate with faculty in designing innovative short term study abroad programs which correspond to established syllabi, or assist in the development of inter, or cross disciplinary programs. Length and content of study abroad programs can vary to suit the needs of the faculty or university. With Babilonia’s ability to arrange classroom space, student accommodations, guided class excursions, airport pickup and return, with a minimum of preparation, faculty can offer their students an extraordinary study abroad program at an affordable cost.

We also assist faculty in internationalizing their courses by imbedding weeklong onsite lectures in Sicily scheduled during, or at completion of a course.
